There were meant to be two more but artpad is not generating URLs for saved pictures for me right now so I'm either going to make them as static images or forego them.
The one comment I got on the teasers was that they were strange. Yes, I imagine they are absent any context, though I suspect once I start doing the story they'll make more sense. Here's some more, less strange teasers for you:
- The name is indeed Tasogare Yume or Twilight Dreams.
- There's a reason it has a Japanese name as well as an English one. And yes, I learned the stroke order for the kanji just to do the artpad stuff.
- It's an episodic story, in no way a legacy. I have the basic arc planned out and details for episodes 1-3 worked out.
- You will finally see me use Sims creatures in this story.
- The person you see in silhouette in teaser two is the author of the words shown on the book and is the focal character. BTW, if you have the same problem I did with the font not fitting the words into the book proper (it fit when I did it, just not on display), they read: "I'm just a normal girl now. I wonder what that's like. So many memories... So many dreams... The past is gone... ...isn't it?"
- There will be 13 main episodes and several extras.
- The extras will hopefully include two short videos, but one reason this was a "secret" project is I didn't want to promise anything I couldn't deliver... and while I'm pretty sure I will be able to do these, until they're actually done I won't feel completely positive.
- The project has a theme song that is quoted in Teaser 3 and will be involved in one of the videos. I stole it from DDR.
- Aside from my severe lack of progress on recreating custom content, one reason this was delayed further was that I found out Bon Voyage was including Asian-style content.
Feel free to leave comments with speculation and questions (though I won't promise to answer the questions). In fact, someone leaving a comment suggesting they're reading any of this would be nice. :P
