Well, I worked out a fairly easy method for loading and renaming files. For those who like the details: since Homecrafter loads in alphabetical order, what I'm doing is loading the files in (moving the loaded stuff into a subdirectory every pageful to make it easier) and then quitting back out of Homecrafter, sorting the newly-added files by time created, which should put them in the same alphabetical order, and renaming them against the list of loaded files.
I would've gotten a lot more done today but I slept really poorly last night and ended up crashing mid-afternoon for about 6 hours. Based on the progress of today I would guess that I could finish it in 2 or 3 days tops and still have time to work on other things, or if I spread it out a bit more (because, well, it's boring), by the end of next week, starting in again on Monday... this weekend is likely to be mostly non-Sims stuff as I said.
Oh, and I was looking at my custom hair for Twilight Dreams and decided to make some custom eyebrows to go with it because the colours I'm using are a little nonstandard. I'm going to go through the created people and decide which style of eyebrow they'd have and make one for each of them. All the stuff I'm making for this project is going into its own subdirectory since I didn't do full recolours of the hair (just the age stages I needed it for) and the eyebrows will go with that, so I will probably be removing most of the custom stuff made specifically for the project for that... but I'm thinking I might do some full recolours of hair later, so making the eyebrows will be good practice for that. And some light brown and darker red and paler blonde would probably be handy for my existing CC hair.
Speaking of Twilight Dreams and custom content, wanna see the main character of Twilight Dreams? I know you do. (She may not be wearing these clothes in the series, but they more or less suit her.)
Also, possibly the most unusual hair recolour I've ever done (and yes, this is someone else from TD but you won't see her for a while):
