State of the Simming

Okay, I actually have been doing stuff, albeit still slowly.

Twilight Dreams

Episodes: E5-E7 scripts finalized, barring minor changes on the fly as usual. E8 drafted. E9 is being worked on and hopefully will be done next week. Next two commercials planned, for E5 and E6; for E7 I know who I want but the author is having computer issues so I'm waiting to ask. Also I know who will likely be E8.

Video: Shooting's mostly done but I think I need a few more stills. Also I need to do a little graphics work. Revised opening theme is as done as it's getting; I'm still not 100% happy with it but it's cleaner and better and that's what I wanted.

The newer, more complex video... I'm having some issues working out the sequence, figuring out where I want to fit stuff, so I haven't really started assembling it. But next week I'm definitely at least working on bits of it, even if I reassemble several times.

The third one, I know what it should look like but until I start assembling it I'm not 100% sure I have everything I need. I am fairly certain it will be very quick to assemble, though. And it'll come out after E5 anyhow, which I'll start shooting for after the other video's done, probably.

After that, no video until E8, and then probably one more at the end if I think I can pull it off. Unless I just do something silly for the heck of it. There'll be a couple other extras but probably nothing as complex in general.

Saints & Sinners

I've actually played some college, gasp. And sorted the pictures for the last Gen A chapter, though I still need to do the writing and such.

The eldest kids have had a full year, the second group a semester, the last group just their makeovers. I had something funny happen in the eldest group, one of whom is a Pleasure Sim. He needed dates to keep his Aspiration up so I managed to find him a 2-bolter to date. On the second date they fell in love and he rolled up a Want to get engaged. I wasn't really planning on having him married (he's going to have a roomie) but I'm not against it... but he's dating a Romance Sim, so I figured it probably wouldn't be a committed relationship. And on the first date she was rolling a Fear of getting engaged to him. But when they fell in love, she rolled up one Want and three Fears for him: Want to Get Engaged, Fear to Get Engaged, Fear to Get Rejected for Engagement, and Fear to Get Married.

She is a very conflicted woman.

On a whim I locked the Want for Engagement. They can get married, I'll just avoid them autonomously having kids. Although if she rolls up a Want for a baby, I will laugh hysterically, and also probably let them have it.

I also did a bit of non-legacy stuff in the 'hood, mainly kitty breeding and (less) puppy breeding, and a couple makeovers of townies.
