I've been up since about 2 AM, mainly because I went to take a short nap yesterday and it turned into 9 hours of sleep. o_O
Anyhow, so... all three S&S households have had some playtime. There's been marriages (and one wedding). There are two babies and a toddler. The two lots I had on my list for the main 'hood are built:
Library (well, library and computer center and statue balcony and), and a cemetery. In counting squares I was planning on putting graves on, I can see that someday I will probably be opening a second one. In the meantime, it will be a while before it's got any graves, unless the stupid badly-red-coloured-hair witch from campus who has a 0/0 relationship with Abby doesn't stop calling her daily, in which case I may have to kill her. Srsly. She's like Marsha Bruenig with a really bad dye job.
I probably should go find all the rilly-fake-red hairs and give them recolours, but it's a lot of tedious work, so I'm probably not going to.
I'm planning on working on the college update over the weekend. At this rate I may have another update's worth of play in before then, too, which probably wouldn't be a bad thing. Next week is for TD and building downtown, though. And maybe throwing in and doing a little tweaking to the vacation destinations.
Speaking of money wasting, I was vaguely considering getting the no20khandouts hack for the purpose of lowering income in the main house, but then I figured, eh, I'm too used to it this way, and I can find other ways (clothes, gifts, moving houses, and, oh yeah, vacations) to waste money, so, I think I probably won't. Like many other things that add "realism" to the game, it just seems probably more trouble than it's worth. I mean. The game's not realistic. Or I'd be playing Gen 0 for the next 18 years.
